Rights
As an American citizen, you are entitled to:
- Voting privileges in Israel for the U.S. Presidency and Houses of Congress
- Travel to the U.S. using a U.S. Passport without a visa
- A work permit for work in the U.S. or in an American company that employs workers in Israel
- Medical treatment in the U.S. using American health insurance
- An American pension for eligible recipients
- Negative income tax for salaried employees who have an annual income over $3000 for each child under the age of 17
Obligations
As a U.S. citizen, one is required to file reports on:
- Salary earned over a certain amount
- Annual report of worldwide income to the American tax authorities
- Independent workers
- Worldwide income even when receiving pension
- Payment of Social Security and Israeli National Insurance (Bituach Leumi)
- Bank Accounts worldwide
It is possible to report using the services of U.S. BENEFITS
